Have you had the heart-moving experience of immersing in the richness of West African traditional arts and the traditional arts that were birthed through the diaspora? Get ready for the unforgettable two night event: “FOR THE CULTURE”. This September 14th and 15th, Africa In America will be celebrating the 5th Annual Original Works Showcase for African Diasporic Music and Dance. This year we will feature original works in theater, fashion, music and dance.

Starting off the show for another year, we have LAADE African Dance Troupe of Loyola Village Elementary School.

Debuting his fashion line Los Angeles, Mr. Senegal Louc Diouf

Debuting an original theater piece, NAACP Theater Award Winner Ms. Natali Miccichē

Presenting our live musical entertainment, AfroHaus

Debuting a full West African Ballet, Founder/CEO Kara Mack and musically Directed by Grammy Award Winner Magatte Fall

And Special Guest, Emmy Award Winning Tap Dancer Jason Samuels Smith
